Tue Jun XXII

No glasses means difficulty watching satelight pakage repeat. Collect glasses before school. No Tues Practice anymore.

See. The major inconvenience of breaking your glasses is that it makes it harder – note that I did not say ‘impossible’ – to watch pre-breakfast television. It does, on the other hand, seem to destroy your ability to spell.

Even today I am amazed at the fact that my glasses could be repaired overnight. I guess I just have very low expectations of service standards. I had still spent the best part of a week with a cracked lens, but it was better than the alternative of having to try to struggle through a day at school when I genuinely would not have been able to see the blackboard.
