Monday Morning Musical Memory

There are one or two records which have mysteriously disappeared from my collection over the years. One of them was given to me as a birthday present by my parents in 1981. I remember being completely taken with the lead single from it because of the way that it both started with the chorus and faded in at the start, rather than out.

If truth be told I was rather disappointed with the album itself. It was too short, being barely over 35 minutes for the 14 songs, and too many of the songs were down-tempo, reflective numbers for my 14 year old taste. But I still loved this song, and I loved the cover, on which the band name and title were printed in Braille as well as text. For that last reason alone I wish that I still had it, but I cannot think what I might have done with it.
