Monday Morning Musical Memory

I had a bit of a problem with today’s post, because the song I wanted to use doesn’t seem to be available on YouTube. So instead I’ve fallen back on one of my p-rock.tv favourites. You will recall that this was a short-lived music station which my gym used to play. They only seemed to have this song by this particular band, but I loved it.

About two years ago I was at the Reading Festival and I saw someone wearing a 4ft Fingers t-shirt. I remember excitedly pointing it out to Caro and raving about this song – but she wasn’t paying that much attention as Dave Grohl was about to perform with Them Crooked Vultures and in her world everything stops for Dave.

I loved P Rock, although they only ever seemed to play the Distillers when I watched it.

I never saw the point of The Distillers, though I remember that P-rock liked playing their songs alongside Rancid ones, which I found amusing.

I saw Brody’s new band, Spinnerette, a couple of years ago. They were rubbish, too
